Delivery and payment terms
1. Scope
These terms apply to the embroidery services offered by Kasvuvoima Oy under the name Neula Works. They apply to business and association customers and, where applicable, to consumer customers. Mandatory consumer protection law is not derogated from.
2. Quote and order
The quote is based on the logo or text the customer sends, the garment type, the quantity and the placement. A placement mockup is delivered with the quote. The order is formed when the customer approves the quote in writing, for example by email. The quote is valid for 14 days.
3. Prices
Prices are stated both excluding and including value added tax (25.5%). For consumer customers the final price is the VAT-inclusive price. The minimum order is 25 € incl. VAT. Return shipping within Finland is 9.90 € incl. VAT per order and free when the order exceeds 200 € incl. VAT. Rush delivery is charged at +30 %. Launch prices are valid until 31 December 2026.
4. Garments supplied by the customer
Embroidery is done on garments supplied by the customer. The customer is responsible for the garments being suitable for embroidery and clean. We recommend one test garment before the full batch and one spare garment for a first run. Garments are sent to us at the customer's cost and risk; return is made in the way agreed in the quote. Mark the parcel with the quote reference number. When the parcel arrives we count the items, check their condition and confirm receipt by email. We recommend tracked shipping. If the order is not paid or the garments are not collected, we keep the garments for six months from our notice, after which they may be disposed of or donated.
Very thin fabrics, loose knits and stretchy materials can show hoop marks or pucker around the embroidery. We point out such a risk before the work, and Neula Works is not liable for marks caused by the material once the risk has been communicated and the customer has approved the work.
5. Liability for defects
If the embroidery fails because of Neula Works' error, we correct the work or re-embroider it on an equivalent garment. If a garment supplied by the customer is damaged during embroidery, we compensate up to 30 € per garment or replace it with an equivalent blank, unless a higher compensation is agreed in writing. For consumer customers the defect provisions of the Consumer Protection Act apply.
6. Logo, text and rights
The customer warrants that it has the right to use the logo, emblem or text it sends, and is responsible for third-party claims if that right is missing. The embroidery file created from the logo (the digitising) remains in Neula Works' keeping so that reorders can be made without new digitising. The file is released to the customer on request at a separately agreed price.
7. Digitising fee
Digitising is charged once per logo. If the logo is not suitable for embroidery as it is, we say so and propose a simplification before digitising. Once the test run has been sewn, the digitising fee is not refunded.
8. Turnaround and delivery
The turnaround time is agreed in the quote and starts when the order has been approved and the garments have arrived. Finished products are posted anywhere in Finland. Risk passes to the customer when the shipment is handed to the carrier; for consumer customers only when the consumer has received the shipment.
9. Payment terms
Business and association customers: invoice, 14 days net after delivery. A new customer's first order is paid in advance. Consumer customers: payment in advance before the work starts. Late payment interest according to the Finnish Interest Act.
10. Cancellation
Embroidery is made to the customer's specifications, so the 14-day right of withdrawal under chapter 6 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act does not apply once the work has started after the customer's approval. A business customer may cancel free of charge before the work starts; digitising already carried out is charged.
11. Complaints
Please send any complaints by email with photos within 14 days of receiving the products. A consumer customer may refer a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
12. Governing law and contact details
Finnish law applies to the agreement.
